Translated Comics by Viz
A note about Viz's translations: All translations published by Viz or Viz/Eclipse
have been edited somewhat from the original Japanese presentation. The artwork has
been "flopped", or reversed. This is because Japanese manga
is generally read from right to left, whereas American comic books are read from
left to right. It is intended to assist in helping the reader read the panels in
the correct order, however it makes characters into mirror images of themselves. Right-handed
people become left-handed, placement of objects is reversed from the way it would typically look,
and Shin's hair usually covers the wrong eye. ^_- In addition, sound effects were retouched and replaced with
English equivalents. Some people consider the sound effects in manga to be part of the artwork, so
it bears noting that they have been changed.
